Is Rhinoplasty Right for Me?

If you understand this and have specific aims as to what you would like changed about your nose you should be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. Similarly you should have realistic expectations and accept that there are limitations regarding what surgery can achieve physically and emotionally. If you approach surgery with this attitude you should be happy with the result.
* If you are obssessional about the shape of your nose, if you are concerned about multiple or small imperfections, if you expect surgery to produce a perfect nose or if you think rhinoplasty will make you a more successful person and change the way others view you then rhinoplasty is NOT right for you.
* Cosmetic rhinoplasty is non-urgent surgery designed to improve your quality of life. To minimise the risk of surgery and anaesthesia we will not accept for rhinoplasty any patient who does not enjoy good mental and physical health and does not have mature, realistic expectations.
