Rhinoplasty is a single word used to describe a variable range of surgical steps which re-shape the nose. Primary rhinoplasty is surgery on noses that have not had a previous operation. Secondary or revision rhinoplasty is surgery on noses that have had one or more previous
operations that have not produced the desired change. Modern aesthetic or cosmetic rhinoplasty is surgery aimed at improving the appearance of the nose for a natural look, in the long-term, that does not affect normal breathing.
